Gondola Extender Strategies

This extender provides a single extra row of pegboard hooks above the gondola. It adds display space while preserving the view created by low gondola and an open floor plan. But consider that there are alternatives. A square bar merchandiser with universal mounts and above-gondola extender would eliminate threaded fasteners and a time-consuming install with limited ability to change quickly. And square bar systems allow a choice of hook mounts, plus accessories like trays and baskets. This solution was good looking and matched the decor, but I wonder what hidden benefit it had that spurred its use over a square bar, or it’s simpler cousin, a flat bar.

SEE “Overhead Hook Merchandising” for adding multiple rows of hooks above tall store fixtures, Or SEARCH “Extender” generally for all fixtures that extend both horizontal shelves and vertical display surfaces.

SELECT “Bar Merchandising Systems” from the Categories Menu for broad bar coverage, or SEARCH “Flat Bar” for more focused coverage of those fixtures.
