Corrugated Die Made Multi-Use

Standard Corrugated Die Cut Detail Main

Standard Corrugated Die Cut OverallIf you are going to produce point-of-purchase in corrugated, smart to design multi-purpose dies that support a variety of displays. This PowerWing corrugated substrate is die cut for as many as 3 columns of Corrugated Hooks. Here only two are occupied in support of Scunci® elastic hair ties. But for other products, a single column or all three might be more suited. Oh yes, don’t forget to change the printed promotion and color branding. Few would realize you are using the same display design. CLICK the thumbnail for alternate view.

  1. INSIGHTS FROM AN EXPERT:

    I echo these comments from Kevin in response to this post echoed to POPON.net. I merely wax poetic about some of this fixtures. Trust an expert for the deep background. Thanks Kevin.

    ========== Professional Insights Below

    Tony, the boxy shape of the side kick is common practice for some of the following reasons:

    1. Easy to fold
    2. No machine gluing required….. if designed a certain way
    3. Depth (thickness) of display allows hooks to be inserted easily
    4. Box shape eliminates warping that is prevalent with flat panel style displays
    5. Box shape offers more ‘out of sight’ options for hanging hardware
