Normally used as an island, this mobile Butcher Block and Burlapped unit becomes an impromptu Endcap enriching the blank end of a run of Coolers. Near the Food-To-Go Buffet. chocolate, candy, nuts, and snacks were offered as a sweet finish to dining compositions. As all marketers know, impulse buying of food is greatest when shopping on an empty stomach. So why not cross sell the Food Buffet to candy as a followup? CLICK through the gallery for zooms.
Being a guy, I am stupid about skin care. So maybe it is possible that your left hand needs different treatment than your right, hence the attraction of a Mix-N-Match Hand Creme promotion. Then again maybe it’s hand vs foot, or face vs buttocks that require the differing salves. In any event it was a new store-entry pitch via small table, auxiliary tray, and schoolboy slate as sign. See if there is some combo for you in the gallery of images.
Here impulse buying is important enough to merit a separate department on Level 2, with Visual Merchandising tableau and directional signage to get you there. But is it still impulse buying if you saw it on Level 1, and navigated to Level 2 to complete the purchase? While you ponder that, you must agree it is a great concept for cross selling, and getting customers to experience more of the store and its offerings. See the simple hand-lettered Sign Stands and brands involved in the gallery and feature images.

Think you know best what goes in a Grab-N-Go Power Lunch? Starbucks® supports you with various hand-lettered offerings that you choose in order to pack your own lunch. I’m not sure the Chips, Popcorn or Pretzel aspect is as heathy as the other choices, but maybe you’d find Organic or Artisan offerings when you got to that stage. Check out all aspects and promotion wound-rope outfitting in the gallery of images.
Based upon college-era dating with El Ed majors, I know this as Feltboard (Flannelgraph), and it is a good way to easily create a changeable message and sign boards … letters just stick. With scissors, you could also cut out and create specialty shapes and even clothing outlines. But this one is all business, bullet-pointed, and flush left. A final benefit of Feltboard signage is soft materials and no sharp edges. Be sure to point that out to your Insurance Carrier when he comes to inspect the store. Do use large, non-swallowable type sizes for even greater safety. An unusual alternative to Chalkboard and Hand Lettered Signs.
Lower® in-store hiring advertising offers a partnership with its slogan “Let’s Build Your Future Together” at the exit where all patrons must pass, that way good coverage of contractors and hobbyists alike. If applicants know the business … through work or avocation .. Lowes® benefits all the more, rather than uninvolved applicants from the broad reach of newspaper and online classifieds. Opportunities are spelled out to filter response even further. If you are, say. allergic to pollen, better not apply for L&G. See the Do-It-Yourself easel and hand lettered details in the gallery of images below.
A fan of Chalkboard and Hand-lettering, I found even the small sign space on these Flower and Plant Merchandising Easels significant to the sell. I say that the impact of the Easels would be diminished without the small chalkboards used. What say you? Stained wood construction also adds to a traditional feel for these racks. Use the gallery of images and thumbnail to inspect in entirety.
Why weld a Metal Plate Base in a separate operation if your Wire Forming Equipment can create this All-Wire Spiral-Base Coil Clip Sign Stand in a single pass? Spray painting might be a bit trick so be sure to use electrostatic powdercoating for finishing. Hand-lettered, custom shape sign extra, of course. See the thumbnail for Coil Clip naked. Seen at Gourmanoff Gourmet Grocery, Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.
Sell against Digital With The Benefits of Analog. A traditional Chalkboard retail promotion, that goes above and beyond the call of duty actually listing the the benefits of an analog book purchase over digital online read. The humor adds to the appeal and memorability of the approach. Credit for the retail observation and image go to Richard Davies, @RichyDispatch, CriticalDispatches.com. Many thanks.
Traditional college campus Panty Raids seem to have escaped and gone mainstream with this chalkboard announcement of a Semi-Annual Panty Raid Sale. I would think Panty Raids on campus passe and appealing to only a slightly older generation of shopper. But my expertise and interest is the chalkboard fixture not the market demographics and merchandising strategy. CLICK the thumbnail for a broader overview of the Chalkboard Fixture and sale wording.
Hot Topic offers a “Almost Everything BOGO” with a “It’s No Joke” chalkboard offer of discount for Hot Topic® Credit Card users. Is the 15% extra discount in addition to the 50% off BOGO, it’s hard to say. You might want to footnote your sign offer clearly to avoid disappointment at the cashwrap. CLICK the thumbnail for a closer look at the auxiliary offer. Is the art of Joker of Batman-fame I cannot say. But possibly a close relative and regular Hot Topic® customer.
This chalkboard menu offers many Holiday selections along with a build-your-own breakfast promotion. I am usually satisfied with standard breakfast sandwich offering even in Fast Food. But I would keep such an offer in mind if I grew peckish yet dissatisfied with normal breakfast cravings. CLICK through the gallery for various views.
White-on-Black Chalkboard messages are high contrast, but Fluorescent lettering might kick your sale up a notch. Or does it? See among similarly sized lettering “Boots” in traditional white stands out the most. You choose if a traditional chalk message would serve your purpose adequately.
