For better or worse, Vera Bradley items are excluded from all coupon and reward offers. I guess that I would need to know the coupon and rewards plan in detail, but I think the exclusion a bad idea, turning off customers (even high-end customers) and losing Vera sales. To me, if a general coupon or reward offering, it should apply to Vera. If a specific offering the coupon or award should say so clearly enough that customers cannot mistakenly try to apply to Vera. However if you need exclusionary signage, this is how Vera handled it. Interesting that the brand is hand written rather than employing its distinct logo and typography.
Great alliteration in an attention compelling headline writing … “Look Before You Leave.”The longer message is less catchy but more explanatory … “Please make sure children are not left unattended in vehicles.” I have seen it happen. And car temperatures can reach lethal levels for children in the Summer, or drop to freezing in the winter. And while on the topic, don’t leave small pets in similar threatening situations.
Tough being a parent with kids. So much responsibility. Here a store lists 6 dos and don’ts for child and shopping cart use and interaction. Learn of your responsibilities via graphic, English or Spanish. With that range of communication, you have no reason for not taking appropriate action in-store. See the gallery to consider the individual warnings in closeup.

A Do-It-Yourself sign with personalized imperatives. Yes, children MUST and AT ALL TIMES be supervised. What happens if not? See the ancillary sign to the left … “Store Under Camera Surveillance — Shoplifters Will Be Prosecuted” … and that goes for those self-same children too. You may think very hurried and sketchily done, but think again. Look close at the finishing serifs on the upright ascenders for “h” “l” and “d” in children. There is more to this sign painter’s skill that meets the eye here.
The “Now Hiring” headline is the main pitch, but Mario as supplemental attention compeller says this job just might be fun. If you are a GameStop denizen, you might automatically have the product knowledge to make a good Sales Associate. If not at least see that the fixture offers this week’s Sales Flyer in a built-in acrylic Literature Holder. Step through the gallery to inspect the outfitting and consider submitting and employment application.
Staffing a perennial problem here, so a “We’re Now Hiring” message is a permanent footnote to the storefront. Viewing and promotional window areas are left to their main tasks, with this employment notice hovering low and out of the way. As a kicker, a 40% employee discount is offered before you even check on benefits. More information and applications available on the Web, a footnote to the footnote states.
Good staff is always hard to find and keep. So Express® uses a very polished and permanent-looking entry sign to hunt up applicants. If you love to shop the store and are automatically part of its demographic, you might love working there and project the upbeat positive attitude Express wants. This tray table (probably from store stock) makes an impromptu job application area for Bed Bath and Beyond. Just inside the store entry, the propping and location make sure loyal customers see … either for their own interest or the referral of others. The display allows instant application and implies a sense of immediacy rather than laid back “Now Hiring” sign alone.
