Toys R Us® reminds you that they are more than just shopping fun. Special events are listed prominently at the store entry and you are most certainly invited. Hand-lettered in Marker, the board can be updated as needed to keep the activities outreach fresh. Oh, to be a kid again! Oh, to be a kid again whose parents shop Toys R Us!
Fall colors are the best. And this declined Endcap displays those colors wonderfully. Open Wire Grid creates the Dividers required. Open Wire Fencing at the ends help contain the affair. Though the angle is steep, wide spaced levels make sure shopper access is easy. See the gallery for zooms.
If you have 1 Super Skinny, 4 Skinny, 1 Slim, 3 Straight, and 3 Bootcut styles, you better find a way to communicate those choices to potential customers. Here Levis does it all in a single vertical sign. Once you’ve chosen the Major Category and Sub-Category, you can then work on what size fits. The size not quite right? Consider changing Major Category or Sub-Category. Maybe you are not so “Super Skinny” as you thought?
Victoria’s Secret® Very Sexy fragrance gets table top billing of its own, complete with VS branded tester cards. A nice touch, but once you took it out of your purse at home, would you remember that it was the “Very Sexy” marquee? And is the list of aroma overtones … Vanila Orchid, Sun Drenched Clementine, and Midnight Blueberry … the fragrance contained in the single bottle … or a line of multiple “Very Sexy” selections? Check out the gallery of images to consider the proposition. Scroll down for a wide range of Tester reporting.
Need to hear those Bluetooth speakers before you buy? Altec Lansing® gives you a full interactive “try me” for four different speakers. Activate each individually then dial up the volume to 11 (Concept courtesy of Spinal Tap) … no “you break it, you bought it” warning in evidence. For store fixture aficionados: speakers, graphics, and content are hot swappable. A rollout display in renovated Target® electronics departments so you might not see everywhere. Design and in-store images courtesy of Bill Tauriello and TDC InStore.
EDITORS NOTE: No remuneration is involved in creation of FixturesCloseUp posts. I do not publish Product Releases directly, but if you have an unusual fixture use in retail or insightful fixture whitepaper, my 120,000+ annual visitors might be interested. Fire off an email to me. I am happy to provide my readers with new ideas and fresh choices if they meet FixturesCloseUp criteria.
The Grand Opening is this Spring. Enough said apparently. The image of a baby hints at what the shop just might be. Now if you can just time your delivery correctly, you’ll be able to latch onto a great high-fashion baby wardrobe at Grand Opening prices. Planning your own opening? Sometimes, as here, the less said the better is what generates buzz.
Here a rare glimpse behind the scenes of specialty Loop Hooks for gelatin and pudding family packs. A rather complicated affair of crossbars, screw-mount uprights, with Slot Mount Loop Hooks the icing on the cake. Other more-modern approaches exist and I will try to document for you. Note the use of Flip-Front Label Holders. CLICK the thumbnail for a front view of the stacked fixture. With behind-the-scenes details hidden it does make a good looking Jell-O® display.
If your promotional materials are as beautiful and high quality as this Nautica in-store watch promotion, do consider an Easel that compliments the display in clean-lined sophistication. Though this particular easel style had been seen before, I like it enough to rebroadcast to any fixture readers who may have missed. CLICK through the gallery of photos for zooms. Uncorraled Dress Shirts on a table top turn messy during sale season. These were not even priced or promoted as discounted. Would dividers, trays, or bins have helped preserve order? Unknown. But browse other Dress Shirt outfitting listings below to see if other fixture strategies might offer an appealing solution. CLICK the thumbnail for another view of this disaster before moving on.
Please accept this sister post, contrasting Gucci® Shoe Forms with reporting on Gucci® Sandal Forms. Here a solid foot and ankle shape contrast with the earlier foot and ankle outline. More of an ankle in this shoe form design accepts higher and near boot cut footwear. CLICK the thumbnail for an alternate view. Scroll down to follow Gucci fixtures and outfitting across FixturesCloseUp.
The scarf as propping was not my interest, rather the ability to find one in precisely Targets® branded red color. Not all reds are created equal, as any colorist or brand manager will tell you. But here Bullseye pulled it off with style and grace. And may have managed to sell some scarves too. CLICK the thumbnail for alternate view.
Cosmetics displays are not all outrageously expensive. Here a simple plastic tray with eye-catching and nicely branded bullnoses vends intense trendy colors to a mass market clientele. Small wire Pin Up hooks allow it to hang from perfed metal. Providing alternate hooks might allow it to hang equally well from pegboard, slatwall, plastic panel and with extra effort even Uniweb. A clever design … one tray design could mount to all by providing a variety of alternate hanger hooks.
