If you deploy Endless Basket or Tray as here, you need Endless Label Strip for Wire Basket and Wire Shelf to complement. Of course both are endless merely by virtue of being mounted in succession and extended to whatever length is necessary. “Endless” Label Strip typically comes in 3’ and 4’ nominal lengths. Just buy and install as much or as little as you need. Seen at Best Buy. Follow the total fixture fit out directly below.
Easy-stacking Wire Baskets allow creation of vertical Bulk Bin arrangements and product offerings. Add a base and casters and the entire unit goes mobile to allow effective positioning relative to customer flow. Without judging, I point out the base unit is left with open shelf space rather than Wire Basket down to ground level. Flip through the gallery of images to inspect the Wire Baskets, stacking flanges (if flanges can be open wire), and center Dividers. Seen at JoAnns®.
Nice understated branding for this multi-gondola offering of Gold Crown Studio Collection. Display differentiation is enhances with Open Wire Basket for Slotwall in addition to shallow shelves and the occasional Slotwall Display Hook. Most offerings are well suited to the Wire Basket support, with little to be hooked anyway. See the thumbnail closeup and various zooms via gallery of images.
Dollies are uncommon, 6-wheel versions moreso, Dollies with Wire Basket unique, and Dollies with Brass-Tone Wire Baskets rarest of the rare. Yes, you want to supply Dollies for those large screen TV purchases and drywall-by-the-stack, but without a Basket where to customers put those small impulse purchases like cables and connectors and drywall screws? Investing in Dollies? Invest in Wire Basket accessories too … Brass-tone or not.
If you have only a few Bras to merchandise, an Open Wire Basket or two might be all that is needed for Table Top Display. Open Wire allows the color offerings to be more easily seen. Printed “Sale” and size tags tell the story and encourage shoppers to explore the offering. Inspect from various distances including a range of zoomed closeups closeup in the gallery below.
Seen near the Cashwrap were these Slatwire-equipped units with mated Open Wire Baskets. Naked and unstocked it is not known what merchandise was planned. But I could fill with salable ideas and I’ll bet you could too. Related Mobile Slatwire Units in the same store allowed swap-out of the Vertical Display Surface, so this too might allow changeover to 1” Grid, 3-4” Grid, Pegboard, Uniiweb, Perforated Metal, and such. Step through the gallery for zooms and closeups. A solid back also eliminates sight leak, often a problem with Slatwire.
While these examples are merchandise not store outfitting, the range of sizes and styles is certainly worthy of inclusion in the FixturesCloseUp thread on Open Wire Baskets. In fact an enterprising boutique just might consider buying a cross section of styles for up-scale in-store bulk binning and cross sells. CLICK the gallery to zoom in on styles and see the addition of copper hand holds as custom feature.
Sleek and small enough to maneuver anywhere this small BOGO basket is nevertheless courageous enough to offer a “Buy Three Get One” offer. Most interesting were the rounded corners and inward curved legs. An adjustable Wire Basket insert allowed support of any depth required by the merchandise at hand. In the true taxonomy, this is actually a Clip-Equipped Hanging Label Holder, but it is far simpler to just consider it a Basket Tag. The twin clips allow the “tag” to hang vertically yet keep it parallel with the fixture horizontals. Single support tags are not always so precisely parallel. This “tag” sports an adhesive label, but actually would accept less-expensive, easier-to-use plain-paper labels as a drop-in. The Label Holder itself is an Extended-Top style easily permitting hole punch for Clips, Zip Tie and more.
At first I thought to “dis” this creation of a totally new extruded Label Strip for wire shelf edge. Why re-invent the wheel when many standard styles exist? But close inspection reveals that this profile can mount two ways, tilting the label face up,as here, or facing directly forward. So there is a good. valid reason to upgrade wire shelf Label Holder configurations. CLICK the thumbnail for a broader look at the display.
Fresh Picked® as a brand is displayed in all manner of fresh ways across the length and breath of this store. Fresh Picked® in rustic wire basket, Fresh Picked® in traditional farmers market bushel basket, Fresh Picked® in hand-carry tray, Fresh Picked® with Apples and Oranges and Strawberries. And though one display is for Tangerine scent, Tangerines must be out of season for there were none. All of this photographed in the same pass through the same store. Somebody’s Visual Merchandising staff has been working overtime. CLICK the gallery to walk through the array of point-of-purchase display ideas. Some propped with fruit.
Light wire mesh is formed into shallow tray-like basket. Ganged and hung from back-mounted frames, they rival Endless Basket in presentation. An added feature is that they are removable for restocking or re-arranging. The more I contemplate this system, the more I feel I should return for close-up details
In a Slatwall application, this basket seems a great solution. But the mount is anything but Slatwall. This Wire Basket Mount is far better suited to Slatwire and Wire Shelf Edge. Click the thumbnail for a closeup view. Following a separate FixturesCloseUp thread, note the Label Holder is an Extended Top Profile with Wire Tie / Cable Tie. Scroll down for more Wire Basket, Basket Tag and Zip Tie Below.
A nice design detail to this Wire Basket is gracefully rounded corners. Is this a difficult manufacturing operation in Open Wire given the tapered wire surround sizes, for it is a first in my experience. Rounded would be safer, but it is also more interesting and elegant. Though this was hidden, recessed within an aisle display, I would show off on an End Cap. CLICK through the gallery for various views.
Too deep to be shelves, too shallow to be bins, too round to be baskets, this must be a tiered Open Wire Tray Spinner in circular configuration. The funnel shape made “facing” an actual gravitation toward the center helping mass the displayed items. Casters makes it mobile for use anywhere, anytime. Do note that upper levels are nearly picked clean while lower, harder to reach are not. Time to promote the bottom items upward.
